Eligibility Criteria For Groundbreaker Leadership Scholarship

The Groundbreaker Leadership Scholarship is a scholarship program offered by the Groundbreaker Leadership Alliance, an organization dedicated to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the technology industry. The eligibility criteria for the scholarship are as follows:

  • Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited college or university in the United States, pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a technology-related field and they must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Applicants must identify as a member of a historically underrepresented group in the technology industry, including but not limited to Black, Latinx, Native American, LGBTQ+, and people with disabilities.
  • Applicants must demonstrate leadership potential and a commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the technology industry.
  • Applicants must submit a resume, transcript, personal statement, and two letters of recommendation.
  • The scholarship award amount is $5,000 and can be used to pay for tuition, fees, books, and other educational expenses. The scholarship is a one-time award and is not renewable.

This scholarship helps to promote diversity and representation in the technology sector and supports the Groundbreaker Leadership Alliance’s mission to advance equity and inclusion in the industry.
