About This Scholarship

The ILLCF (Italian Language Learning Center Foundation) Scholarships are scholarship programs offered by the Italian Language Learning Center Foundation to support students of Italian language and culture. The foundation provides financial assistance to students who are interested in learning the Italian language and culture through various educational programs.

The ILLCF Scholarships aim to promote and support the study of the Italian language and culture among students in the United States. They provide financial assistance to students who might otherwise not be able to afford to pursue their interests in this field.

Eligibility Criteria For ILLCF Scholarships

The ILLCF (Illinois Legislative Latino Caucus Foundation) Scholarships are scholarship programs that support Latino students who reside in Illinois and who are pursuing higher education. To be eligible for these scholarships, applicants must meet the following general criteria:

  • They must be of Latino descent and reside in Illinois.
  • They must be enrolled in or accepted to an accredited college, university, or vocational school in the United States.
  • They must demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
  • They must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent for non-traditional students).
  • They must demonstrate involvement in their community or extracurricular activities.
  • In addition to these general eligibility criteria, some of the ILLCF scholarship programs may have additional criteria, such as:
  • The ILLCF General Scholarship: open to high school seniors, undergraduate students, and graduate students.
  • The ILLCF Illinois Community College Scholarship: open to community college students who are transferring to a four-year institution.
  • The ILLCF Public Service Scholarship: open to undergraduate and graduate students who plan to pursue a career in public service or government.
  • The ILLCF STEM Scholarship: open to undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing a degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) field.
