Eligibility Criteria For Jack Kent Cooke College Scholarship

The Jack Kent Cooke College Scholarship is a highly competitive scholarship program that provides financial support to high-achieving high school seniors or recent graduates who demonstrate significant financial need. To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a current high school senior, or a recent graduate or a current community college student who has completed no more than 12 transferable credits at the time of application
  • Plan to enroll full-time in a four-year accredited college or university in the fall following their selection as a Cooke Scholar
  • Have a cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.5 or above
  • Demonstrate significant unmet financial need. This is generally defined as a household income of $95,000 or less. However, the scholarship program takes into account other factors such as family size, cost of living, and other relevant circumstances.
  • Participate in community service or other extracurricular activities, such as music, sports, or clubs.
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities and academic achievement.
