About This Scholarship

Jewish female high school seniors or recent graduates who are trying to start their first year of an undergraduate programme at a four-year college or university in California are eligible for thisl Scholarship. Academic excellence with a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, participation in extracurricular activities, financial need, and proof of consistently upholding the Jewish values of tzedakah and tikkun olam, here defined as volunteering one’s time to improve the world.

The applicant’s primary residence is in the wider San Francisco Bay Area, which includes the counties of San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Alameda, Contra Costa, Solano, Marin, Napa, and Sonoma.
