The Julian Jenkins Award is given each year by the Jacksonville State University Foundation. Awarded to a student with a declared major in art who has shown, in the opinion of the art faculty, great creative skill and dedication to the arts and was established by Mr. Julian Jenkins, a former Anniston architect. The JSU Foundation develops opportunities that will provide additional assistance to the students, programmes, services, and academic community of Jacksonville State University through collaborative relationships with people, businesses, foundations, and other organisations.
The Foundation will use image improvement, efficient asset management, business ventures, and development initiatives to fulfil its objective. The JSU Foundation’s main goal is to increase private gift support for Jacksonville State University while establishing a solid foundation for future fundraising success.
