About This Scholarship

The Kosciuszko Foundation is a charity that promotes academic and cultural transactions between the United States and Poland to improve awareness of Polish history and culture in the United States. As part of this mission, the Kosciuszko Foundation Tuition Scholarship Program is supported by the Kosciuszko Foundation. As a result, the Kosciuszko Foundation Tuition Scholarship Program provides several graduate students of Polish heritage studying in the United States or at English Schools of Medicine in Poland with financial assistance of up to $7,000. The Kosciuszko Foundation is a charity based in Chicago, Illinois that provides scholarships to students of Polish heritage studying at institutions of higher education or English schools of medicine in Poland. Currently, the program has over 200 recipients, and the Kosciuszko Foundation believes many other recipients still need to be recognized by the foundation.

Eligibility Criteria For Kosciuszko Foundation Tuition Scholarship Program

  • Polish descent: Applicants must be of Polish descent by birth or ancestry.
  • Academic achievement: Applicants must have excellent academic records and demonstrate high academic achievement in their field of study.
  • Enrolled in a graduate program: Applicants must be enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution in the United States or at an English School of Medicine in Poland.
  • Full-time status: Applicants must be enrolled full-time in their graduate program and maintain full-time status throughout the scholarship period.
  • Demonstrated financial need: Applicants must demonstrate financial need by submitting a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form or an equivalent financial aid application.
  • Language proficiency: Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English or Polish, depending on the language of instruction at their institution.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency: Applicants must be either U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the United States.
