About This Scholarship

This scholarship opportunity is made available to New Hampshire high school seniors interested in human rights and artistic engagement by the Lantos Foundation for Human Rights & Justice. An annual competition honouring the work of activist artists from throughout the world, the Activist Artist Scholarship was established. Each application will be required to research the impact of a specific activist artist and demonstrate how that artist used his or her medium to influence, educate, and inspire others during and after their lifetimes.

We invite applicants to research the impact of a specific activist artist and to produce a 600–1,000 words essay demonstrating how that artist utilised his or her medium to influence, inform, and motivate action on human rights during and after their lifetime.
