About This Scholarship

Louisiana State University (LSU) offers several top merit scholarships to incoming freshmen who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, leadership, and community involvement. The following are some of the top merit scholarships offered by LSU. Stamps Scholarship: The scholarship covers full tuition, fees, room and board, a $14,000 enrichment stipend, and an additional $5,000 stipend for study abroad or undergraduate research. 

  • Presidential Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to incoming freshmen who have a minimum ACT composite score of 30 or a minimum SAT score of 1390 and a minimum high school GPA of 3.5. 
  • Tiger Excellence Scholars Program: This scholarship is awarded to incoming freshmen who have a minimum ACT composite score of 28 or a minimum SAT score of 1310 and a minimum high school GPA of 3.5.
  • Alumni Scholars Award: This scholarship is awarded to incoming freshmen who have a minimum ACT composite score of 28 or a minimum SAT score of 1310 and a minimum high school GPA of 3.5. 

In addition to these scholarships, LSU offers a variety of other merit-based scholarships and financial aid programs to help make college more affordable for students. The selection process for these scholarships is highly competitive, and applicants are encouraged to submit their applications early to maximize their chances of receiving an award.

Eligibility Criteria For Louisiana State University Top Merit Scholarships
