About This Scholarship

The M. Verna Butterer Educational Trust is a scholarship program established to support students in their pursuit of higher education. Residents of Bucks County, Pennsylvania who can prove they have a need for financial assistance and who intend to pursue post-secondary education are eligible for a combination scholarship and interest-free loan from the M. Verna Butterer Educational Trust. For up to four years, a scholarship or loan recipient may receive assistance to attend colleges, universities, technical schools, nursing programmes, and other post-secondary institutions in the United States. Candidates must be United States citizens who have lived in Bucks County for at least two years and demonstrate financial need for educational purposes as decided by the foundation’s trustees.
