About This Scholarship

MKF provides Texas college or trade/technical school scholarships for eligible Santa Fe, Alvin, Angleton, Arcadia, Ball, Brazosport, Brazoswood, Columbia, Danbury, Dickinson, Hitchcock, La Marque, O’Connell, Sweeny and Texas City High school graduates and GEDs. They encourage all qualifying current high school seniors, graduates and GEDs to apply.

E.W. Kelley and his family gave IU a multimillion dollar gift in the fall of 1997 that is used to support the Kelley Scholars Programme. In appreciation for the donation, the institution gave the Kelley family the name to its school of business.

Eligibility Criteria For Mark Kilroy Foundation Scholarships

When you graduate or receive a TXCHSE, sometimes known as a GED, from Santa Fe, Alvin, Angleton, Arcadia, Ball, Brazosport, Brazoswood, Columbia, Danbury, Dickinson, Hitchcock, La Marque, Manvel, O’Connell, Sweeny, or Texas City High School, they accept scholarship applications.  After submitting ALL necessary paperwork to the Mark Kilroy Foundation, high school graduates who are awarded this scholarship will receive the initial $500 payment at the start of the Fall or Spring semesters and subsequent payments at the start of each subsequent semester.  If you match our eligibility conditions, there is no age restriction on applying.

  • The student must submit an official copy of their registration for the Fall or Spring semester at a Texas-accredited college, trade school or technical school, along with the necessary application materials, to the Mark Kilroy Foundation in order to receive the first $500 of the scholarship monies.
  • The student must submit official copies of their previous semester transcripts from a Texas-accredited college or trade/technical school, reflecting grades and completed courses, as well as their next semester’s paid registration, to the Mark Kilroy Foundation in order to receive their second $500 and subsequent payments of their scholarship funds.
  • For trade or technical institutions, the student must be enrolled and finish at least 12 semester hours, or the other agreed-upon hours and prerequisites.
