About This Scholarship

The Massachusetts Youth Soccer Scholarship Program is a scholarship program designed to support graduating high school seniors who have participated in Massachusetts Youth Soccer as a player, coach, or referee. Student-athlete Awards High school seniors who intend to enrol in a post-secondary college are eligible for the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Scholarship Program. Each year, a $1,000 scholarship will be given to one man and one female.

Eligibility Criteria For Massachusetts Youth Soccer Scholarship Program

To be eligible for the scholarship, the applicant must have participated in Massachusetts Youth Soccer as a player, coach, or referee for at least two years, and be a graduating high school senior who plans to enroll in an accredited post-secondary institution for the upcoming academic year.

  • Academic Criteria: All the applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale to apply for this scholarship.
  • Application Requirements: All the applicants are required to submit an application form, official transcripts, a personal essay, and two letters of recommendation. The essay should describe the applicant’s involvement in soccer and how it has impacted their life, as well as their future goals.
  • Scholarship Amount: The scholarship award amount varies each year, but typically ranges from $1,000 to $2,000.
  • Application Deadline: All the application deadline for the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Scholarship Program is typically in May of each year.
