About This Scholarship

The McConnell Scholarship is a prestigious scholarship program offered by the McConnell Center at the University of Louisville in Kentucky, USA. The scholarship is named in honor of Senator Mitch McConnell, who is a graduate of the University of Louisville. The McConnell Scholarship program provides full tuition, room and board, and a book allowance for four years of undergraduate study at the University of Louisville. Eligibility Criteria For McConnell Scholarship

The McConnell Scholarship is a highly competitive merit-based scholarship that is awarded to students who demonstrate leadership, academic excellence, and a commitment to their community. The eligibility criteria for the McConnell Scholarship are:

  • High School Graduation: Applicants must be high school seniors who will graduate before the scholarship begins.
  • Leadership: Applicants must demonstrate strong leadership skills and have a record of taking initiative in their school, community, or other areas of their life.
  • Academic Achievement: Applicants must have a minimum 3.5 unweighted GPA and a minimum 29 ACT or 1350 SAT score.
