  • Education: Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale and must have earned at least 12 semester hours of college credit.
  • Major: Applicants must be enrolled in or admitted to an eligible teacher preparation program at an accredited Tennessee college or university.
  • Financial Need: Applicants must demonstrate financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
  • Commitment to Teaching: Applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to pursuing a career in teaching and must be willing to teach in a Tennessee public school after graduation.
