About This Scholarship

Mississippi Eminent Scholars Grants is a scholarship program offered by the state of Mississippi to provide financial assistance to eligible students who demonstrate academic excellence and are seeking to pursue a degree in a STEM field. Eligibility Criteria For Mississippi Eminent Scholars Grants

  • He must be a legal resident of Mississippi.
  • Must be a high school graduate or have earned a GED.
  • Must have a minimum composite ACT score of 29 or a minimum SAT score of 1290 (combined critical reading and math scores) or a minimum PSAT score of 1250 (combined critical reading and math scores) or a minimum PreACT score of 29.
  • Must be enrolled full-time in an eligible Mississippi college or university as an undergraduate student.
  • Must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Must not have received a felony conviction or a conviction for sale or possession of drugs.
