The scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, leadership skills, and involvement in FFA activities and community service. To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be current FFA members in good standing, and must plan to enroll in a two- or four-year college or university, or a vocational or technical school, in the fall following their application.

The scholarship application process requires students to submit an application, official transcripts, and a letter of recommendation. The application also includes essay questions related to the student’s career goals, FFA involvement, and leadership skills.
