About This Scholarship

The NBCUniversal Tony Coelho Media Scholarship is a scholarship program that help applicants to provide financial assistance to students with disabilities who are interested in pursuing careers in media and communications. Eligibility Criteria For NBCUniversal Tony Coelho Media Scholarship

To be eligible for the NBCUniversal Tony Coelho Media Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • All the applicants must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and must have a disability as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act and must be pursuing a degree in media, communications, or an entertainment-related field and moreover they must be enrolled in an accredited college or university in the United States, or have been accepted for enrollment in such a program
  • They Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale to apply for this scholarship.
  • In addition to meeting the above eligibility requirements, applicants must also submit a completed application form, a personal statement, a resume, official transcripts, and two letters of recommendation.

While the scholarship is open to both undergraduate and graduate students, the application requirements and criteria may differ slightly for each group.
