About This Scholarship

The NCJW NY Jackson-Stricks Scholarships are scholarships awarded by the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) New York Section to female students who are residents of New York City and who are pursuing higher education. The scholarship is named in honor of Lillian Jackson and Paul Stricks, two former NCJW NY presidents who dedicated their lives to social justice and community service.

The scholarship is awarded to women who have demonstrated academic achievement, financial need, and a commitment to community service. Applicants must be enrolled or accepted to an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in a college or university located in the United States.

The amount of the scholarship varies depending on the recipient’s financial need and the cost of attendance at the recipient’s chosen institution.
