About This Scholarship

The Brady-Williamson scholarship is provided by the Northern California/Nevada Chapter of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) in order to encourage study for a career in fire protection engineering and to increase public interest in the science and practice of fire protection engineering. Candidates must be engineering students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Masters’s in FP Engineering or in another engineering subject with the intention of enrolling in an MS in Fire Protection Engineering. They must also be permanent residents of the region represented by the NCN-SFPE Chapter.

On January 27, 1954, in San Francisco, the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (NCN-SFPE) established the Northern California/Nevada Chapter.
