Eligibility Criteria For Newman Society Essay Scholarship Contest

The Newman Society Essay Scholarship Contest offers financial assistance to high school seniors who demonstrate academic excellence and a commitment to their Catholic faith. To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • High School Senior Status: Applicants must be current high school seniors in the United States. Students who have already graduated from high school or are enrolled in college are not eligible.
  • Academic Excellence: Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Additionally, students must have taken or be enrolled in at least one honors or advanced placement course.
