About This Scholarship

In honour of alumnus Nicole C. Washington, the Baltimore branch of the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS) presents a $1,500 grant to a female Morgan State University student. On September 16, 2013, Nicole Washington, a cherished wife, mother, friend, and coworker, lost her battle with breast cancer. She was the WTS Baltimore Chapter’s Scholarship Chair and brought her enthusiasm for life to the “proposed” list of fresh and interesting fundraising ideas that were being considered to collect money for the scholarship programme.
