About This Scholarship

The OAWWA Undergraduate Advanced Degree Scholarship’s main objective is to promote water industry-related education through financial aid. In an attempt to thank those who support the water sector and the Ohio Section of the American Water Works Association, this scholarship programme has been established. Any undergraduate student who is a resident of Ohio who is enrolled in a programme connected to the water sector (such as science, engineering, management, computer information systems, or any water-related subject) at an Ohio-accredited institution of higher learning during the scholarship year is eligible to apply. In May, the recipients are revealed.

  • Academic Achievement: Many scholarships require applicants to have a minimum GPA or academic standing. The specific GPA requirement can vary from one scholarship to another.
  • Educational Level: Scholarships may be available for undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral students. Some scholarships may also be open to high school seniors planning to pursue a degree in a water industry-related field.
