About This Scholarship

The PAVE Essay Contest and Scholarship Program is an annual competition that provides students with the opportunity to showcase their creativity and critical thinking skills while also potentially earning scholarship money. PAVE, which stands for Planning and Visual Education, is a non-profit organization that aims to promote the advancement of education in the retail design and planning industry.

Each year, the PAVE Essay Contest invites undergraduate students from across the United States to submit essays that address a specific prompt related to the retail design and planning industry.

Students are encouraged to approach the prompt from a unique perspective and to incorporate their own research and insights into their essay. Essays are judged based on their clarity, creativity, and relevance to the prompt.

Winners of the PAVE Essay Contest are awarded scholarship money, with amounts varying based on the year and the number of winners. In addition to the scholarship money, winners may also have their essays published in industry publications or presented at industry events, giving them valuable exposure and networking opportunities.

Overall, the PAVE Essay Contest and Scholarship Program is an excellent opportunity for undergraduate students interested in retail design and planning to showcase their skills, gain recognition in the industry, and potentially earn scholarship money to support their education.
