About This Scholarship

The Pennsylvania Postsecondary Educational Gratuity Program (PEG) is a scholarship program that provides financial assistance to children of Pennsylvania National Guard members who were killed, disabled, or who died in the line of duty while performing their National Guard duties. The PEG program provides up to five years of tuition-free education at any Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) institution or a state-related institution, including Penn State University, the University of Pittsburgh, and Temple University. The program also provides a stipend for room, board, and books.

The PEG program is a great opportunity for the children of Pennsylvania National Guard members to pursue their educational goals without the burden of financial hardship. For more information about the program, including eligibility requirements and application deadlines, visit the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) website or contact your college or university’s financial aid office.
