About This Scholarship

This is a need-based grant program for Pennsylvania residents who are attending college or university in the state. The grant is administered by the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA), and the amount of the award is based on financial need, as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

The Pennsylvania State Grant can be used to cover tuition, fees, room and board, and other educational expenses. The grant is renewable for up to eight semesters of undergraduate study, provided that the student continues to meet the eligibility requirements.
