About This Scholarship

The Polish-American Arts Association (PAAA) is a non-profit organization that promotes Polish culture and heritage through the arts. It was founded in 1978 by a group of Polish-American artists, musicians, and writers who wanted to create a space where they could showcase their work and share their culture with the wider community.

The PAAA is based in New York City and hosts a variety of cultural events throughout the year, including art exhibitions, concerts, literary readings, and film screenings. The organization also provides support and resources to Polish-American artists, helping them to develop their skills and advance their careers.

One of the PAAA’s major initiatives is the annual Polish-American Arts Festival, which celebrates Polish culture through music, dance, visual arts, and theater. The festival features performances by Polish-American artists as well as visiting artists from Poland, and it attracts thousands of visitors each year.

In addition to promoting Polish culture, the PAAA is also dedicated to preserving Polish-American history and heritage. The organization maintains an archive of Polish-American art and literature, and it sponsors educational programs and exhibitions that explore the Polish-American experience.
