About This Scholarship

The Professional Business-Women of California (PBWC) offers scholarships for young women through its PBWC Young Women’s Scholarship Program. This program is designed to provide financial assistance and mentorship opportunities to young women who are planning to pursue higher education.

The application process includes submitting an online application form, transcripts, letters of recommendation, and a personal statement. The personal statement should describe the applicant’s goals and aspirations, academic achievements, extracurricular activities, and any challenges they have overcome.

Scholarship recipients receive up to $5,000 per year, which can be used to cover tuition, fees, books, and other educational expenses. Eligibility Criteria For Professional Business- Women of California Scholarship for Young Women

The Professional Business-Women of California (PBWC) Scholarship for Young Women is a scholarship program designed to support young women who are graduating from high school and pursuing higher education. The eligibility criteria for this scholarship program are as follows:

  • Identify as a woman.
  • Be a graduating high school senior from a California high school.
  • Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  • Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited college or university in California for the upcoming academic year.
  • Demonstrate financial need.
  • Demonstrate academic achievement, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to advancing gender equity through leadership, community service, advocacy, or other activities.
  • Submit a completed application, including transcripts, a resume, a personal statement, and two letters of recommendation.

The PBWC Scholarship for Young Women awards scholarships of up to $5,000, which can be used to cover tuition, fees, books, and other educational expenses associated with pursuing higher education. Scholarship recipients are selected based on academic achievement, leadership potential, and a demonstrated commitment to advancing gender equity.
