About This Scholarship

Prospanica Foundation offers several scholarships to support Hispanic students pursuing higher education. All these scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to their communities. Here are some of the scholarships offered by Prospanica Foundation:

Prospanica Foundation Scholarship Program: This scholarship is awarded to undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing degrees in business, STEM, healthcare, education, and other fields. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited institution in the United States or Puerto Rico.

Prospanica Foundation/Capital One Scholarship Program: This scholarship is awarded to Hispanic students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in business, finance, accounting, or other related fields. The scholarship includes a $2,500 award and an opportunity to attend the Prospanica Conference and Career Expo.

Prospanica Foundation/GE Hispanic Forum Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to Hispanic students pursuing a degree in engineering, business, finance, or other related fields. The scholarship includes a $5,000 award and an opportunity to attend the Prospanica Conference and Career Expo. Prospanica Foundation/UPS Scholarship Program: This scholarship is awarded to Hispanic students pursuing a degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.

Eligibility Criteria For Prospanica Foundation Scholarships

The eligibility criteria for Prospanica Foundation Scholarships vary depending on the specific scholarship program, but generally include the following:

  • Enrollment in a graduate or undergraduate degree program at an accredited institution in the United States.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the Hispanic community or Prospanica’s mission of empowering Hispanics to achieve their full educational, economic, and social potential.
  • U.S. citizenship or legal permanent residency status.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) for undergraduate students, and 3.2 (on a 4.0 scale) for graduate students.
  • Financial need, as determined by the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) or other financial aid application.
  • Completion of a scholarship application, which may include essays, letters of recommendation, and other materials as specified by the scholarship program.
