The R. Gene and Nancy D. The Richter Scholarship Program provides up to $10,000 per year to each recipient, which can be used to cover tuition, fees, books, and other educational expenses. In addition to the financial award, scholarship recipients are also provided with internship opportunities and mentorship support.

The Richter Fellows Program provides up to $2,500 per year to each recipient, which can be used to cover tuition, fees, books, and other educational expenses. In addition, recipients are paired with a mentor who is a professional in their chosen field.

Eligibility Criteria For R. Gene and Nancy D. Richter Foundation

The R. Gene and Nancy D. Richter Foundation is a scholarship program designed to support undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing a degree in accounting. To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must be enrolled in an accredited college or university in Texas, have completed at least 60 hours of coursework, and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. The eligibility criteria for this scholarship program are as follows:

  • Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  • Be enrolled or plan to enroll as a full-time student in an accredited undergraduate or graduate accounting program.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the accounting profession through leadership, community service, or other activities.
  • Submit a completed application, including transcripts, a resume, a personal statement, and two letters of recommendation.
  • Provide evidence of financial need, if requested.
