About This Scholarship

Be aware that the Saginaw County Child Development Centres Scholarship is only good for the 2022–2023 academic year and that the money can only be used for room and board, tuition, books, and other course-related costs. If funds are available, this scholarship is renewed on a competitive basis.

The SCCDC offered a range of programs over the course of its 31-year existence, including home daycare programs, emergency food programs, staff, and parent training sessions, a food reimbursement program for home daycare providers, the Michigan School Readiness program, Head Start, and housing initiatives. The following requirements must be met by candidates to be considered for the Saginaw County Child Development Centres (SCCDC) Scholarship: proof of financial need; a 2.5 to 3.0 GPA; and senior or undergraduate status. Students that are enrolled full-time will be given preference.
