Santa Clara University – Schott Family Scholarship

The Schott Family Scholarship at Santa Clara University is a scholarship program designed to support students who are enrolled in the university’s College of Arts and Sciences. To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Enrollment: Applicants must be currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in the College of Arts and Sciences at Santa Clara University.
• Major: Applicants must be pursuing a major in one of the following fields: English, history, philosophy, religious studies, or women’s and gender studies.
• Financial need: Applicants must demonstrate financial need, as determined by the university’s financial aid office.
• GPA: Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Citizenship: Applicants must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
• Essay: Applicants must submit an essay that describes their academic and career goals, their involvement in extracurricular activities and community service, and how the scholarship will help them achieve their goals.
• Letters of recommendation: Applicants must provide two letters of recommendation from individuals who can attest to their academic and personal achievements and potential.
