Stars Scholarship Fund

The Stars Scholarship Fund is a scholarship program that provides financial assistance to students who are pursuing higher education in Texas. The eligibility criteria for the scholarship are as follows:

• All the applicants must be a U.S. citizen, legal permanent resident, or eligible non-citizen and they must reside within the geographic boundaries of South Texas (Laredo to Brownsville and from the Gulf Coast to Uvalde).
• All the applicants must have completed a high school diploma or GED certificate from an accredited institution in South Texas for this scholarship.
• All the applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll full-time in an accredited college or university in Texas during the upcoming academic year.
• All the applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) and some scholarships may have specific eligibility criteria based on the donor’s preferences, such as major, career interest, or community involvement.

To apply, students must complete the Stars Scholarship Fund application, provide official transcripts, and submit a personal statement, letters of recommendation, and other supporting documentation.
