Eligibility Criteria For SVCF Anthony Narigi Hospitality Scholarship

Here are some common factors that are often considered for scholarships in the hospitality field:

  • Enrollment in a Hospitality Program: Most hospitality trade school scholarships require applicants to be enrolled in or planning to enroll in a hospitality-related program at an accredited trade school, vocational school, or community college.
  • Field of Study: Hospitality encompasses various areas, such as hotel management, culinary arts, hospitality administration, tourism, event management, or restaurant management. The scholarship may have specific requirements related to the field of study, so ensure your program aligns with the scholarship’s focus.
  • Academic Achievement: While not all hospitality trade school scholarships prioritize academic performance, some programs may require a minimum GPA or academic achievement as part of the eligibility criteria.
  • Work Experience or Internships: Some scholarships may value applicants who have relevant work experience, internships, or volunteer experience in the hospitality industry. Highlighting such experiences can strengthen your scholarship application.
  • Letters of Recommendation: Scholarships may require letters of recommendation from teachers, employers, or professionals in the hospitality industry who can speak to the applicant’s skills, work ethic, and potential for success in the field.
