You must also be enrolled in a college or university programme leading to an architecture degree.

Eligibility Criteria For SVCF Ehrlich Rominger Scholarship

Here are some common factors that are often considered for architect scholarships:

Enrollment in Architecture Program: Most architect scholarships are specifically for students who are enrolled in or planning to enroll in an accredited architecture program. This can include undergraduate programs, graduate programs, or professional degrees in architecture.

Academic Achievement: Architect scholarships may consider academic performance as part of the eligibility criteria. This can include minimum GPA requirements or recognition of academic excellence in architecture-related coursework.

  1. Field of Architecture: Some scholarships target students pursuing specific areas or specialties within architecture. They may prioritize applicants interested in sustainable design, urban planning, historic preservation, or other specific aspects of architecture.
  2. Portfolio Review: Many architect scholarships require applicants to submit a portfolio showcasing their design skills, creativity, and architectural work. The portfolio may include drawings, sketches, renderings, models, or other visual representations of the applicant’s architectural projects.
  3. Financial Need: Certain architect scholarships prioritize students with demonstrated financial need. This can be assessed through financial documentation, such as income statements or completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
  4. Leadership and Extracurricular Activities: Scholarships often value applicants who have demonstrated leadership skills, involvement in extracurricular activities, and a commitment to community service. This can include participation in architecture-related organizations, volunteer work, or leadership roles in school or community settings.
  5. Letters of Recommendation: Architect scholarships may require letters of recommendation from professors, mentors, or professionals in the field who can speak to the applicant’s architectural abilities, creativity, and potential for success.
