SVEC Achievement Scholarship

The SVEC Achievement Scholarship is a scholarship program offered by the Southwestern Vermont Economic Development Corporation (SVEC) to support students who are pursuing higher education. The eligibility criteria for the scholarship are as follows:

• Applicants must be a resident of Bennington County or Windham County in Vermont.
• Applicants must be a graduating high school senior, current college student, or adult learner who is pursuing a degree or certification program in a field related to SVEC’s mission of promoting economic development.
• Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale and they must submit a completed application form, official transcripts, a personal statement describing their career goals and how the scholarship will help them achieve those goals, and two letters of recommendation.
• Preference for this scholarship may be given to students who demonstrate financial need.
