About This Scholarship

If you’re a female student pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in information security or a related field, you may want to consider applying for the SWSIS Scholarships. These scholarships are available to women who are upperclassmen in their undergraduate studies or are master’s students in fields related to information security. The Applied Computer Security Associates (ACSA) and the Computing Research Association’s Committee on Widening Participation in Computing Research (CRA-WP) administer the program. Its goal is to increase the representation of women in the information security workforce. Each year, several aspiring female information scientists are selected to receive scholarships worth at least $2,000 to assist with their education.
