Tandon STEM Scholarship

The Tandon STEM Scholarship is a scholarship program designed to support undergraduate students who are pursuing a degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) field at the Tandon School of Engineering at New York University. To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following lines:

• Enrollment: Applicants must be currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at the Tandon School of Engineering at New York University.
• Major: Applicants must be pursuing a degree in a STEM field, such as computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or chemical engineering.
• Financial need: Applicants must demonstrate financial need, as determined by the university’s financial aid office.
• Citizenship: Applicants must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
• Essay: Applicants must submit an essay that describes their academic and career goals, their involvement in extracurricular activities and community service, and how the scholarship will help them achieve their goals.
• Letters of recommendation: Applicants must provide two letters of recommendation from individuals who can attest to their academic and personal achievements and potential.

The selection process for the scholarship is competitive, and recipients are chosen based on their academic achievements, leadership potential, and financial need. The scholarship award is up to $5,000 per year, and can be used to cover tuition, fees, books, and other related expenses.
