About This Scholarship

The Texas A&M University – Century Scholars Program is a scholarship and mentorship program designed to support high-achieving, economically disadvantaged students in their pursuit of a college education. The program is offered by Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, USA.

The Texas A&M University – Century Scholars Program is a scholarship program designed to support high-achieving students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Here are the general eligibility criteria for the program:

  • All the applicants must be high school seniors who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents and they must be Texas residents and must have graduated from a high school in the state of Texas.
  • Applicants must have a minimum high school GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale or rank in the top 25% of their graduating class.
  • Applicants must demonstrate financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and they must plan to enroll at Texas A&M University as a full-time undergraduate student.
  • Applicants must be first-generation college students or come from a family with an annual income below a certain threshold.
