About This Scholarship

The TEXAS Grant Program is a need-based financial aid program in Texas that helps eligible students attend public colleges and universities in the state. The program was established in 1999 by the Texas Legislature and is administered by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB).

The amount of funding provided through the TEXAS Grant Program varies depending on a student’s financial need and the availability of funds. The program typically covers tuition and fees, although it may also provide additional funds for textbooks and other educational expenses.
