About This Scholarship

The Texas-UK Award is a scholarship program that provides financial assistance to undergraduate and graduate students from Texas who are interested in studying abroad in the United Kingdom. The scholarship is funded by the British Council and the Texas International Education Consortium (TIEC) and is awarded annually to several students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and a commitment to promoting cultural understanding and international education. Scholarship recipients are also provided with support and resources to help them prepare for their study abroad experience, including pre-departure orientations and cultural training.

The application process for the Texas-UK Award typically requires the submission of a complete application form, along with transcripts, letters of recommendation, and a personal statement that describes the applicant’s academic and personal achievements, research interests, and career goals related to international education.
