About This Scholarship

The Hamilton Award is a prestigious scholarship program that recognizes high school juniors who are making a positive impact in their communities. The award is named after Alexander Hamilton, one of America’s founding fathers, and is designed to honor his legacy of public service, leadership, and innovation.

The scholarship program provides winners with up to $5000 in funding to attend a summer leadership program at the Hamilton Leaders Academy, which is hosted at select universities across the country. The program includes seminars, workshops, and hands-on learning experiences that focus on leadership, public service, and innovation. Winners also have the opportunity to network with other outstanding young leaders from around the country and gain valuable insights into their own strengths and areas for growth.

The Hamilton Award is an excellent opportunity for high school juniors who are making a positive impact in their communities and are interested in developing their leadership skills and abilities. The award provides generous funding and access to valuable resources and opportunities, which can help winners achieve their goals and make a meaningful difference in the world.

  • Be a high school junior from a public, private, or homeschooled in the United States.
  • Be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or permanent resident.

  • Have achieved at least a 20 on the ACT or 1020 on the SAT (for homeschooled students, test scores from a nationally recognized exam will be accepted).
