About This Scholarship

If you are a college student interested in serving in the U.S. Air Force, consider applying for the U.S. Air Force In-College Scholarship Program (ISCP). To be eligible for this program, you must be a freshman or sophomore in the specific major at a university with an Air Force ROTC program and have completed at least one full-time term. The U.S. Air Force ROTC created this scholarship program to support and develop future leaders for the air force. Therefore, applicants selected for the program must accept a commission as an Air or Space Force officer and serve at least four years on active duty. Furthermore, those chosen may receive varying amounts of scholarships to assist with their tuition expenses. An applicant must also have a high school graduation or GED certificate and have at least an 85th percentile on the general college admissions test.

Eligibility Criteria For U.S. Air Force In-College Scholarship Program (ICSP)

  • College Freshmen and Sophomores: To be eligible for the ICSP, applicants must be college freshmen or sophomores at an accredited university.
  • Specific Majors: Applicants must major in engineering, nursing, computer science, and others, as determined by the Air Force ROTC.
  • Full-time Students: Applicants must have completed at least one full-time term at their university.
  • University with Air Force ROTC Program: The applicant’s university must have an Air Force ROTC program.
