About This Scholarship

The UmpsCare All-Star College Scholarship is a scholarship program that supports children adopted later in life in achieving their post-secondary education goals. The scholarship is awarded by Umps Care Charities, which is a non-profit organization that provides financial and emotional assistance to children in need.

Life is essential and so is education. It provides you a sizable lead as you circle the bases in baseball terms. However, not everyone is given the same chance to pursue higher schooling. Children who were adopted later in life are eligible for the UMPS CARE Charities All-Star College Scholarship, which helps students who might not otherwise be able to finance college. Every year, UMPS CARE Charities gives out about $50,000 in college grants.

The UmpsCare All-Star College Scholarship awards range from $5,000 to $10,000 per year and can be used to cover tuition, fees, books, and other educational expenses. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years, provided that the recipient maintains a minimum GPA of 2.5 and remains enrolled in a qualifying program of study.

The UmpsCare All-Star College Scholarship is a competitive scholarship, and applicants are evaluated based on their academic achievement, financial need, community involvement, and personal statement. The scholarship application deadline is typically in the spring, and the winners are announced in the summer.
