About This Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria For Valero Energy Corporation Scholarship

Valero Energy Corporation offers scholarships to students who meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • All the applicants must be enrolled full-time in a degree program at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school in the United States.
  • All the applicants must be pursuing a degree in a field related to Valero’s business operations, including but not limited to: engineering, petrochemicals, business, accounting, information technology, or marketing.
  • Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and they must demonstrate financial need.
  • Applicants must demonstrate leadership potential and involvement in extracurricular activities and preference may be given to applicants who are dependents of Valero employees or retirees.
