Eligibility Criteria For Valparaiso University Allen Scholarship

  • Applicants must be high school seniors who have applied for admission to Valparaiso University.
  • Applicants must have a minimum high school GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and they must have a minimum SAT score of 1320 (or ACT composite score of 28).
  • Applicants must demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, as evidenced by rigorous coursework, honors, awards, and other achievements.
  • Applicants must demonstrate leadership potential and involvement in extracurricular activities and must complete the scholarship application and submit a resume, personal statement, and two letters of recommendation.

In addition to the above criteria, the Allen Scholarship selection committee may also take into account factors such as financial need, diversity, and geographic location in the selection process.
