About This Scholarship

The Vanderbilt University Ingram Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship awarded to a select group of outstanding high school seniors who have demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to community service. The scholarship is named after E. Bronson Ingram, a prominent businessman and philanthropist who was a longtime supporter of Vanderbilt University.

Recipients of the Ingram Scholarship receive full tuition coverage, plus a stipend for living expenses, for all four years of their undergraduate study at Vanderbilt University, which is located in Nashville, Tennessee. In addition to the financial support provided by the scholarship, recipients are also given access to a range of academic and professional development opportunities, including research opportunities, access to special seminars and events, and mentorship from faculty members and alumni.

The Ingram Scholarship is highly competitive, and only a small number of students are awarded the scholarship each year. Applicants for the scholarship are evaluated based on their academic performance, standardized test scores, extracurricular activities, leadership skills, and community involvement.
