About This Scholarship

High school seniors or college students who will be continuing their studies in the autumn at a vocational/technical, two-year or four-year college are eligible for the VPC Community Involvement Scholarship. The applicants who best exhibit interest in and service to their “communities”—generally construed as a geographical community, a school community, or a sports/hobby/activity community—will be chosen as the winners.

There will be several winners chosen. The largest prize, the Kathleen Eovino Memorial prize, will be awarded in memory of Kathleen Eovino, a longtime educator who was a part of our PEZ Community. The applicant who best exemplifies constructive and/or inventive contributions will be chosen for this scholarship.
