About This Scholarship

Every year, WCA gives the Jo Caldwell Meyer Scholarship to at least one worthy undergraduate student. Jo Caldwell Meyer, a cherished civic leader and a longtime WCA member, served as the national executive secretary of Theta Sigma Phi, the organisation that founded Women Communicators of Austin and is the professional association for women in communication. A brief essay and a letter of recommendation must be submitted as part of the scholarship application. You might be requested to provide a transcript and provide proof of your enrollment in classes if you are a finalist for a scholarship.
