The WMU Medallion Scholarship Program is a merit-based scholarship program offered by Western Michigan University (WMU) to incoming freshmen. It provides financial assistance to students who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement, leadership potential, and community involvement. The Medallion Scholarship covers full tuition and fees, as well as a $1,000 per year stipend for four years of undergraduate study at WMU. The scholarship is renewable each year, provided that the recipient maintains the required academic standing and meets other criteria.
And above all, all the pplicants must demonstrate leadership potential and a commitment to community involvement through their extracurricular activities, community service, and other achievements.
The Medallion Scholarship is highly competitive, and only a limited number of students are selected each year. It is designed to attract and retain top-performing students and provide them with access to a high-quality education at WMU.
