About This Scholarship

If there is one thing no veteran wants to regret, it’s that they didn’t go after their dreams. This is especially true for Women’s Army Corps Veterans’ Association members, often forgotten by the general public despite their service. And while this organization offers its members numerous benefits, it depends on membership dues and donations to fund its scholarship program. That changed when the Women’s Army Corps Veterans’ Association partnered with Promise Scholarships for a new year of educational possibilities for children of military veterans. A scholarship called the Women’s Army Corps Veterans Association Scholarship has been created to acknowledge family members of Army Service Women. The scholarship will be awarded based on academic excellence; leadership demonstrated through extracurricular activities and community engagement. $1500 will be awarded annually to the recipient, who will be informed by mail or email.

  • The payment will be sent directly to the educational institution where the recipient is accepted. Relatives of Army Women, including children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, who plan to enroll full-time in a U.S.-accredited university are eligible for this scholarship.
  •  It is offered by the Women’s Army Corps (WAC), a non-profit and non-partisan organization that provides services and support to enhance the quality of life for military personnel.
  • The scholarship aims to acknowledge the academic accomplishments and leadership potential of family members of Army Service Women. This can benefit not only their children but also encourage the achievements of their families as a whole.
