  • Enrollment status: The applicant must be enrolled full-time or part-time at an accredited college or university in the state of Maryland or the District of Columbia.
  • U.S. citizenship: The applicant must be a citizen of the United States or have permanent residency status.
  • Leadership potential: The applicant must demonstrate leadership potential in the transportation industry through academic excellence, community involvement, or professional experience.
  • Membership: The applicant must be a member of the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS) or submit a membership application along with the scholarship application.
  • Application requirements: The applicant must submit a completed application form, an essay, official transcripts, and two letters of recommendation.
